Update: he's still taking his sweet-ass time! Most people's guesses have already expired.
I was due on January 18th, and people have started predicting when Seamus will make his debut. It could happen as early as tomorrow and as late as 43 weeks, which would be February 8th!
So far, we have these guesses (the expired guesses are crossed out):
Rob Munk:
Carol:
Kathy K:
Texas Jo:
Al Gore:
Scott:
Neil:
Julie:
Matt Davis and Kathy Blau:
Nostradamus and Elf:
Jen:
Jim:
Salvatore:
Evelin:
Julieanna: January 23
Mr. Dyson: January 24
Me: January 25
Cliffie: January 31 (his birthday)
Heidi: February 1 (Teri's birthday)
Sandy: May 8 (very funny.)
Teri: "Four days after the Briggs Stratton contractions start up." No fair, Trees! Pick a date! :-)
As people guess, we'll update this post.
Nostradamus wants to know what the prize is ... we're not sure yet! Bragging rights? A pail of used diapers? You get to babysit?

I, the Great Predictor (also the Decider) know that S.McC.SmithBlau will arrive on Saturday, January 20, 2007.
BTW: is there a prize for this ****'ing contest? How about a trip to meet the lad, in mid-February?
I'm going to say Jan. 23 but hope for earlier because I'm eager to see pics of the little guy.
When I say I'm "eager" I just mean I'm looking forward to it--not that there's any pressure to produce. ;o) Take your time.
And Grampy wants him born on his birthday, January 31st!
Seamus Blau will be born on January 24, which is, coincidentally, National Vacuum Cleaner Appreciation Day.
Mr Dyson.
Before I make a prediction, I need one piece of information: are you experiencing Braxton-Hicks contractions yet? (or Briggs&Stratton, as Shawn used to jokingly call them, after the lawnmower engines)

Feb 1
just in from my angel friend and warrior woman, Jo in TX
Keepin' my fingers crossed for Jan. 15th - my b'day!
and still asking Seamus to do that flip and get right
with the direction for launch!
Love to all, Jo
May 8th!
hahahahahahaha
He'll be coming into the world right on time.
January 18th!
He'll be coming into the world right on time.
January 18th!
As much as I'd like to have Seamus born on my birthday (Jan 20), I'd be a little wary of hoping for a Nostradamus prediction to come through.
I'm thinking he'll be right on time.
I predicted this whole Global Warming thing that is apparently keeping you crazy kids eating at outdoor cafes in the middle of January, so I think I'm a little more qualified than the rest of the Predictors on here.
I'm going with Jan. 15, seems fitting that Seamus would share a birthday with Martin Luther King, Jr.
i'm late to this, so i'll take Jan 16th. that's open right?
I'm guessing four days after the Briggs & Stratton contractions start up.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Hurry up, Seamus, we all want to meet you!
Love
Auntie Teri
what nostradamus says i believe
Hey, elf, you better believe it. ND does not guess; ND knows.
BTW, we still haven't been informed of the First Prize .... is this a contest or a guessing game?
I go for the 19th, Josh's Birthday.
Greta,
When I was getting anxious and having too much time on my hands before Kim was born, I decided to take a ride on public transportation (bus) to downtown Chicago on a bumpy road. That night my water broke and Kim was born the next day.

Yippee, I'll take the babysitting rights! Come on, Seamus, it's January 20 very soon, get movin'!
Go for a vigorous walk. Have sex with your husband. Put on reggae music and dance. Eat Thai food. Meet a work deadline. Fold and put away the laundry. Lay down at last and say, "ahh...all that stuff is done, now I can rest for a bit, because the baby's not due yet."
Love,
Auntie Teri
I've done all of those things, Auntie Teri. Probably TMI for some of you. I'd love some Thai food though!
having lost, i nominate the prize to be the used baby-diapers.
I'm rooting for 26th - it's Australia Day of course! xx
