Since we don't have much info about the newest Seamus yet, I did a little Googling and found these tidbits:
1) The Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS) is a non-profit national organization of composers, performers, and teachers of electro-acoustic music representing every part of the country and virtually every musical style.
2) In the bio of Nobel Prize winning Seamus Heaney, it says, "His father was notably sparing of talk and his mother notably ready to speak out." Hmmm.
3) Seamus is the name of a Pink Floyd song, written when they discovered that a band member's dog, named Seamus, could bark in tune to music. It's essentially a blues riff with a dog barking over it.
