Suburban debauchery

It may be a little hard to tell from the attached photos, but what you're looking at is the scandalous goings-on in a suburban New Jersey basement last night, at a "holiday party". If you look closely, you can see Lily helping out her mom with the vocals, and Charlie backing up his dad on percussion. Other children were square-dancing (sort of) or playing kazoos; the adults in the audience were eating gumbo, Byron sang "Summer Breeze", and Paul was dressed as a farmer for some reason.

In summary, it was a much tamer party for this crowd than in years past -- the only ones who dropped their pants at the end of the night were Charlie and Lily -- but no less memorable for it. The kids had a blast, and I hope that Seamus will get to enjoy similar revelry in future years.
