What with the childbirth classes and the list-making and the baby-stuff shopping and the apartment-cleaning etc. etc., we have done pretty much nothing about Christmas. And Greta just interrupted my blogging to list three things that we have to do today (clean out our storage facility, shop for stocking stuffers for Greta's family, make food for freezing), so I don't think we're going to catch up on our Christmas-elf tasks today.
In other words, none of you will be getting anything from us in time for Christmas. Sorry ... we will send you stuff afterwards, though! We'll aim for the Feast of the Epiphany .. so watch your mailboxes.
By the way, I tried to find a picture of naughty elves for this post ... take my advice and never, ever, do an image search for "naughty elves". Some very disturbing pictures come up. You don't want to your children to see what some pornographer imagines Santa gets up to during the off season.

The images I saw on my Google Search Results page can never be removed from my brain-- not even by the awesome cyclonic suction power of the Dyson DC07.
