Dear Elves, there is no "random" Schmooness: I think it must be deliberate on his part. 'course, he hasn't hit the Terrible 2s ..... can he say "no!" yet?
He says, "Na na, Dada!" and "Na na, Mama!" when he wants us to cease and desist from a given action (eg taking the fun, shiny scissors away from him).
