I tried to find the photo of Alfalfa with a toothache. He has a big cloth filled with ice tied around his chin.Anyway I went back to the dental factory to get my root canal finished. I finally decided to try a new place in NYC and it didn't exactly work out. The endodontist had bad breath, shaky hands, and a very rough way of making sure she had gotten every last bit of pulp out of my tooth.
I've had probably more root canals than most people, and this was by far the most painful and longest one I've ever had. Not going back to there!
It was a blessing in disguise though. Somehow, it was the first time I really worried about the baby and felt protective. Even after all that had happened in the beginning, I didn't feel like this.
When I got home, I caressed my belly as if I were saying, "You'll be okay. I know that sucked." I am so happy that I finally feel some attachment and, I guess, love for the baby. WOW.
