Jim giving Seamus a bath.

Seamus in his very cute sleepsack thanks to Uncle Joe and Auntie Kathie. They also sent a frog toy that is the first toy Seamus ever smiled at! Thanks, guys!

In other news I have been feeling SO much better the past 2 days. I don't know what's going on, but I'm just trying to go with the flow of feeling good! Today I was dancing with Seamus to Van Morrisson and Seal (thanks to the CD from Auntie Teri) and instead of just focusing on Getting Him To Sleep, I actually started enjoying feeling his cheek against mine, his soft hair against my face, and holding my little boy in my arms. I think I've turned a corner. I want to thank you akllk for your support. You have all been so wonderful. It really helps!

Music saves!
Love to your sweet little family,
Auntie Teri
PS - Seamus, you The Baby. You the Cute Baby. You the Little Dude. Auntie Teri, blithering again!
What a cutie!
Also glad you are feeling better, Greta. It does get better, and better, and better. (Until they're 15, then it just gets...different.)
Can't wait to see him in person!
Got plans for Memorial Day weekend?
Always makes this Nana happy to hear that "her baby" is doing well! Right Auntie Terri?
Ok.. so music is apparently his thing.
Will burn copies of the following music for you today!
The 5th Dimension - Age of Aquarius
Melissa Etheridge - Yes I am Melissa
Lion King
Seal - Seal
Get ready to dance up a storm with Seamus McBlau! :o)
Oh how this latest blog entry lifted my spirits, dear Greta! I felt them soaring, as I read about your own happiness. And even if it's still an up-and-down thing, your expression of the feeling of holding Seamus against your cheek is the best sign of all, that you're turning a corner. That's a memory I will carry with me, from all my babies, forever.
Music saves, as Teri and all the kids in my family know. I'm especially intrigued that Nanabanana is including "Age of Aquarius" on her CD: Nana, my dear, would you also put "Good Morning Starshine" on there if you have it? No matter how sleepy I would be in the nursing hours before dawn, I could always smile as I looked at my little one and sang that one softly. " ... the Earth says Hello" ....
Hey Greta...I'm happy to hear you're doing well!! Reading your other posts made me a little nervous about childbearing (as I suppose I should be at my age), but you sound a million times better now, and that makes me smile. LOVEEE from the west,
CaitB
So happy you are feeling better, Greta. And Seamus is sooo cute. He is really getting big. Wow. We miss you on the board. I bet we'll see more of you when you go back to work.
Well maybe this week upcoming, wee Seamus needs an Irish air or jig to enjoy in his mama's arms!
Mmmmmmm.... baby cheeks.
Aaack! Uncle Dave has been horribly remiss! He has made music cds for other babies, but not Seamus! And we KNOW that our own little savage beast is calmed by music.
Greta,
Great to see pics of Seamus. Too cute!
I remember the check cuddling with Kim and Pete. Words can't truly describe the feeling, but your's were great.
You will be amazed when he finally sleeps through the night. Glad you are feeling better.
P.S. He looks so adorable in his sleepsack.
Love,
Auntie Kathie
