Here's a blast from the past ... exactly one year ago, my little boy was shoving mashed potatoes up his nose:
Today, we're with NanaBanana, Grampy, Mimi, and the whole Powell/Sodaro clan. Here's my sister-in-law Carol preparing our turkey, Larry. (Watching this has reconfirmed my non-meat-eating status ...)
It's unseasonably warm today -- all the way up in the mid 40's! -- so I took Seamus down to the beach a little while ago:
Among other things, he amused himself by playing with a piece of bamboo that he found: he would jam it into the sand, and then shout, "Oh, no, stuck!", and then pull it out again. He did this about twenty times in a row ... he is the funniest boy in the world.
Hope that all of you out there are having just as good a time today.

I mis my mashed potato masher! that was so much fun, last year! But it's Nana's turn this year, and I know she's enjoying it. .... If you took Seamus to the beach out here, he'd be dressed in a swimsuit, it must be about 70 degrees out -- as usual, SB gets another warm Thanksgiving. John's on his way to Pasadena (probably even warmer) for tri-tip with his brother and some other guys; I'm about to bake a real pumpkin pie for my sibs' dinner later. Love to all of you in CT!
He's also the cutest cutest cutest kid in the whole world! Oh he is so wonderful and adorable....
And yes, we are on the way to the beach too, with the dogs. It's a little cold...maybe down to 60!
WOW...Carol really knows how to make a turkey appatizing. The video made me wanna hurl too....
so viewer must know (second hand of course) how was that bird??? Did anyone actually eat it?
