Seamus decided to get up and play from 4 to 5:30 am this morning. This should have been exasperating, but he is so freaking cute that I couldn't help laughing at him. He ran around the apartment like a maniac, played with his cars, ate a banana (making "mmm mmm mmm" sounds), and attempted to pull my nose off of my face. Eventually, he climbed up on my lap and put his head on my shoulder to let me know that he was ready to go back to sleep.
I'm at work now ... exhausted but grateful that we have such an awesome boy.

Yes, you are lucky guys. I love reading this blog, and the pics and vids you put up. You've got to get up here soon and have Seamus meet Galileo and the Didda Schweenie!
Hoskeebo!
Brian
Jim, you get "husband of the year" award for getting up with the lad. I'll bet he and Mom got to sleep in this morning, too. Yer a saint, lad.
it's really cute until you want to sleep in. you will get pay back when he is a teenager and only wants to sleep.
enjoy his darlingness now & keep an eye on the eggs in your fridg - velcro to keep the fridg closed is a great tool.
alex used to get up like that and throw eggs at the dog. "catch daisy!"
Not so fast, Grannyfranny ... the morning after that, when Seamus woke up at 7am, I pulled the covers over my head. :-)
