Things Are Looking Up

I wish I had Souffle's famous cartoon of the same title to illustrate this post ... but as you might be able to tell by all of the posting that Greta's been doing, she's feeling much better. The plagues have dissipated -- speaking metaphorically, Pharaoh's army got drownded ... just in time for Passover, too.

This past week, Seamus has been cuter than ever. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but during this first week back from Connecticut with Greta feeling herself again, he has been less yelly and more interactive. Auntie Carol visited today, and she even got him to laugh a little bit (we think)! For the first time, I feel like we're able to really enjoy him without feeling overwhelmed by stress and anxiety.

For instance, I took an opportunity to photograph my favorite part of him: the Hair Swirl! --

The best part about the Swirl is that it's also a Squiff:

Happy Vernal-Equinox-Derived Holidays to all!

Mama Greeba's happiness is shared by all of us, this Eastertide!

PS: John has the "Things Are Looking Up" painting in his office; I grin every time I see it.

Daddy has it? Why did I think I had it? Do I have the one I made for Skip? Anyway, will look around for it and mail/email a copy to you (depending on what sort of mood I'm in, and whether I can locate a working scanner).

I think guys have hat-hair days, and hangover-hair days (which generally lead to hat-hair days).
