Yesterday's sonogram shocked and delighted us by showing that, in the past two weeks, Cletus the Fetus' arm- and leg-buds have grown into actual (spindly) arms and legs, and that he/she has doubled in size ... but even more astonishingly, the little sucker was wiggling around like there was no tomorrow. I didn't realize that they did that so early ... it was practically doing backflips.
"It's saying, 'Hi Mommy!" said Dr. Wong, unpersuasively.

We were so giddy afterwards that Greta forgot her bottle of water in the examination room, and when I went back to get it, I almost barged in on Dr. Wong's next patient. That would have been awkward ...
